The Open Science Promotion Section was established in 2022, with the aim of managing and releasing various data that were collected through atmospheric and oceanic observations and numerical modeling, and leading to new research developments. In collaboration with the Cooperative Research Promotion Section and laboratories within the institute, we are promoting data collection, quality control, archiving, and publication, as well as constructing and publishing ocean DNA maps under the Ocean DNA Project, which is being undertaken by the entire institute.
